This is a series of photos taken for Oxfam to raise awareness of wastage in fashion industry. Tons of clothes end up in landfill, decomposing for years, polluting soil. Second hand shops and apps like ebay, vinted help to reduce the waste but are they enough. The intention was to use a dancer to show clothes made of recycled fabrics including bin bags. The portfolio was made to spark a debate and conversations around the issue and our fashion choices. I am not asking people to wear bin bags. I ask people to think what the overconsumption can cause, its effects on the planet.
I took photos of Alice and her incredible hair last year. She is an architect. She told me she has this incredible dress that she would like to be photographed wearing. She never wears dresses. It was a special moment. She wanted to tell a story about her, not an architect, but as a person that experience freedom of expressing herself.
The following is the series of images is my family. I live in London with my husband, son and dog. My extended family live in Poland.

My son Alfred. He was diagnosed with autism when he was 7 years old. His daily challenges are dealing with emotions.

It was important to his wellbeing to know the diagnosis. It helped him understand that he is different.

Autism can be a lonely place. He is socially challenged, cant sustain longer conversations with peers and he is very shy when meeting new people.

Alfred likes lining up cards, objects, then inspect them closely or move around. Our floors are always full of cards. small cars, pebbles, or cut out shapes.

. This is me, in my grandmother's top floor attic, where she stores things as old as her,  97.

Thing to know about me. I am always him my dog Lava. We are inseparable.

I have never been a perfectionist but I don't like mess either.

This is a self-portrait taken in a studio. It symbolizes for me motherhood, mothers sacrifice, not only mine but my own mother's and her mother's.
